RURAL DEVELOPMENT WOMEN WELFARE
SOCIETY (RDWWS) is a Non-Governmental, Non-political, Non-religion,
Non-commercial, Non-profit making voluntary organisation. It was
formed
by few dedicated and service-minded women social workers to
render their voluntary service for the emancipation of rural poor
women in particular and the other people in general, without any discrimination of caste, creed and religion. The
organisation is registered under the Societies
Registration Act XXI of 1860. Registered
under the Foreign Contribution (Regulations) Act, 1976. Since its inception in
the year 1996 several useful and sustainable programmes implemented
by the RDWWS in rural areas of the Kadapa District in Andhrapradesh.
Special focus on the development of rural women and children.
The main purpose of RDWWS is to empower the rural women folk in
social, economical, health and education, which are the main
elements for developments of any community or Country. Income tax

Developing deeper understanding of
Child Rights, Rights of girl child, and Self Governance, Gender analysis, causes of
poverty and role of state and people in establishing principles of
equality, protection of marginalized and weak, equality of man and woman
in all respect and different essential aspects of Governance and Welfare
of people as enshrined in the Constitution of India and other World Bodies
and Spiritual Scriptures.

Women
and poverty:
Review and adopt
and maintain micro-economic policies and development strategies
that address the needs and efforts of women in poverty, provide
women with access to savings and credit mechanism i.e., formation of
self-help groups.
Education
and Training of women:

Ensure equal access to education, eradicate illiteracy among women.

Improved women’s access to vocational training and develops
non-discriminatory education and training.
Women and Health:

Increase women’s access throughout their life, cycle to appropriate,
affordable and quality health care, information and related
services.

Strengthen preventive programmes that promote women health
undertaken gender – sensitive initiatives that address sexually
transmitted diseases, HIV/AIDS and sexual and reproductive health

Violence against

measures to prevent and eliminate violence against women.

effectiveness of preventive measures.

Eliminate trafficking in women and assist victims of violence due to
prostitution and trafficking

promote women’s economic rights and independence, including access
to employment and appropriate working condition, and control over
economic resources.

facilitate women’s equal access to resources, employment, markets
and trade.

provide business services, training and access to markets
information and technology, particularly to low-income women.

strengthen women’s economic capacity and commercial network.
